My 6 year old little boy asks for this every night, we call it the 'secret song' I watch his sweet little face as he falls asleep and feel such a loving ache in my heart as this song plays.

For those who enjoyed this piece, I suggest trying “Hymn of the Cherubim” (Tchaikovsky).

This is one of most musically stunning piece ever written. But even more beautiful is the text of the song, Psalm 51. This is the Psalm a broken hearted King David wrote to God crying out for forgiveness after he was confronted with his sin by the Prophet Nathen. Anyone who has sinned and realized the horror of the evil they have done can identify with this Psalm.

In such a diabolical and crazy world, one can relax with begging God for mercy. He always gives since He cannot break that promise. Deus Vobiscum.

When I was a little girl, about 6, I would put this on the record player when my parents were out. It is nice to hear it without the scratches. Thank you.

"Music is a more potent instrument than any other for education, because rhythm and harmony find their way into the inward places of the soul. " What beautiful words by Plato.

Mozart heard this once when young. Two days later he returned to the Sistine Chapel with the whole thing written out. Every choral part. He just made a couple of minor adjustments. The guys talent was absolutely dizzying

i love those moments when you let an autogenerated playlist go for a while, letting the mood seep in, sinking into the background, and then something new comes along and enchants you out of nowhere
